How long does a Betty deposit take?
Betty says most Interac deposits arrive in 5 to 30 minutes. Card and Apple Pay deposits are described as quick, with no fixed time given. A bank security check can slow any method down.
If an Interac deposit fails outright, Betty says the money is refunded within one to two business days by its payment provider.
Why is my Interac deposit delayed or missing?
A delayed Interac deposit is usually a bank check, and your money is not lost. Work through this list before contacting support:
- Confirm you used the correct email address.
- Confirm the message or reference number matches what Betty showed.
- Confirm the amount is exact, to the cent.
- Check the status in your Betty transaction history.
If the status still reads “Started” or “Pending” after 30 minutes, contact support. Give them the time, amount and reference.
Why did my card deposit fail?

Yes, in the Betty iPhone app. Apple Pay is not offered on the website. It cannot receive withdrawals, so you will need Interac or Visa to cash out.

Should you deposit by card if you plan to withdraw soon?
Think about the payout before you choose how to pay in. Two rules make card deposits less flexible than Interac.
- Mastercard cannot receive withdrawals. You will need a second method to cash out.
- Card deposits are held for 14 days. Betty’s Terms say a credit or debit card deposit cannot be withdrawn within 14 days.
Worked example. You deposit $50 by Visa on a Friday and win $200 that evening. Under the Terms, the $50 you paid in by card can be held for 14 days. With an Interac deposit, that rule does not apply.
