Betty Gaming CA Ltd. operates betty.ca from 199 Bay Street in Toronto. Trade press names Justin Park as co-founder and group chief executive. It names Chavdar Dimitrov as co-founder and chief executive of Betty Canada. The company says it was founded in 2022.
When did Betty Casino launch?
Betty says it was founded in 2022. Covers reports that it went live in Ontario on March 10, 2023. It launched in Alberta on July 13, 2026, the day that province’s regulated market opened.
Is Betty Casino available in the United States or the UK?
Betty.ca is for Ontario and Alberta only. It is not offered in the United States. Trade press reports that a separate UK platform under the Betty brand went live on June 1, 2026. That is a different site from betty.ca.
Which sports teams does Betty sponsor?
Betty’s About page calls it the official online casino partner of four Toronto teams: the Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC and Argonauts. This is a marketing partnership. Betty has no sportsbook, so you cannot bet on these teams there.
How many players does Betty have?
Betty’s About page claims more than 670,000 registered players in Ontario. Trade press reported 134,000 active Ontario players at the end of 2025. “Registered” counts everyone who ever signed up.
“Active” counts recent players. Both figures can be true.
Does Betty have a physical casino?
No. Betty is an online casino. Its Toronto address on Bay Street is a company office, not a gaming floor.

How do you close a Betty account?
Go to Account, then My Profile, then Close Account. Withdraw your balance first. Closing an account is not a safer-gambling tool.

Can you reopen a closed Betty account?
Betty’s help centre has an article on reopening a closed account, and the route is through support. After a self-exclusion, the account stays closed when the term ends. You must ask support in writing to have it reinstated.
How do you delete your Betty account and data?
Betty’s help centre has articles on deleting your account and data, with a separate one for Alberta. The request goes through support. A regulated casino must keep some records for a set time, so not everything can be erased at once. See how to contact Betty.
What is a dormant account at Betty?
Under Betty’s Terms, an account becomes dormant after one year with no login and no real-money activity. To keep it active, log in and make a real-money transaction. If you plan a long break, withdraw your balance first.

Do you pay tax on Betty winnings?
We do not give tax advice. In Canada, winnings from casual gambling are generally not treated as taxable income. The rules can differ if gambling is run as a business. Check with the Canada Revenue Agency or an accountant.
Can you deposit at Betty with a credit card?
Yes. Betty accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards for deposits. Be careful: you are gambling with borrowed money, and your card issuer may charge cash-advance fees.

Does Betty offer service in French?
The App Store lists English as the only language for the Betty app. We found no French version of betty.ca. Betty.ca serves Ontario and Alberta, not Quebec. For Quebec, see betty.com vs betty.ca.
Is Betty Bingo a separate site from Betty Casino?
No. Betty Bingo is a game inside the Betty site and app. It uses the same account and wallet. It is available only to players who are physically in Ontario. See how Betty Bingo works.
What does “politically exposed person” mean on the sign-up form?
It means someone who holds a prominent public position, such as a senior politician, judge or military officer. It also covers their close relatives and associates. Casinos must ask as part of anti-money-laundering rules. Most people answer no.
Is this website run by Betty?
No. This is an independent guide. It is not operated by Betty Gaming CA Ltd. You cannot log in, deposit or play here. The official sites are betty.ca for Ontario and Alberta and betty.com for other provinces.
