This guide is independent. We do not run Betty and you cannot log in or play here. We read Betty’s terms, its help centre and the regulators’ lists, then set out what they say in plain language.

What is Betty Casino?

Betty is a Canadian online casino that focuses on one product: slots. The company says it was founded in 2022 to build a casino for slot players, not for sports bettors. Its head office is on Bay Street in Toronto.

Most large casinos sell slots, tables, live dealers and sports betting in one app. Betty does not. If you open it looking for blackjack or a hockey bet, you will not find either. If you only want slots, the lobby is simpler as a result.

Betty states that it has more than 670,000 registered players in Ontario. That is the operator’s own figure. No regulator publishes player counts per site, so we cannot check it.

Where is Betty Casino legal in Canada?

Betty.ca is legal for real-money play in Ontario and Alberta only. Both provinces run open, regulated markets where private casinos can register. You must be physically inside the province while you play. Living there is not enough if you are travelling.

What about Quebec, BC, Manitoba and the rest?

Betty.ca will not let you play outside Ontario and Alberta. A different website, betty.com, serves the other eight provinces. A different company operates it under a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence.

Who owns and regulates Betty?

Betty Gaming CA Ltd. operates betty.ca. In Ontario, the AGCO registers the operator and iGaming Ontario lists it under “Casino” and “Bingo”. In Alberta, the AGLC regulates it and Alberta iGaming Corporation lists “Betty Casino” among its registered iGaming sites.

What can you play at Betty?

You can play online slots, and in Ontario you can also play 75-ball bingo. Betty’s site lists more than 45 game studios. They include Pragmatic Play, Games Global, IGT, Light & Wonder, Hacksaw and Play’n GO.

You cannot play blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker or live dealer games. There is no sportsbook. This is the single biggest limit of the site, and it is by design.

How do payments work at Betty?

You can deposit by Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay. You can withdraw by Interac e-Transfer or Visa only. Betty does not pay out to Mastercard.

Betty advertises that most withdrawals finish instantly. Its Terms allow up to five business days. Both can be true: the first is the usual case and the second is the limit. See Betty withdrawal times and delays and the full payment methods table.

How do you open a Betty account?

You sign up on betty.ca or in the app with your email, legal name, date of birth and address. Betty then checks your identity before you can deposit or play. It accepts a driver’s licence, passport or provincial photo card. It does not accept health cards.

Is there a Betty Casino app?

Yes. Betty has an iPhone app and an Android app. The iPhone app is called “Betty Casino: Real Money Slots”.

It needs iOS 16.4 or later and is 155.5 MB. It holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating from about 16,000 ratings.

How do you spot a fake Betty Casino site?

The real Ontario and Alberta site is betty.ca. Many look-alike domains copy the name and add words such as “canada”, “login” or “official”. Some describe live dealers, e-wallets or phone lines that Betty does not have.

Three quick checks protect you:

1. The address bar reads exactly betty.ca.
2. The site appears on the iGaming Ontario or Alberta iGaming Corporation list.
3. The app’s seller is Betty Gaming, Inc. on the App Store.

This site is not Betty either. We say so at the top of every page. We never ask for your Betty password.

What player protection tools does Betty have?

Betty lets you cap deposits, losses and playing time by day, week or month. You can pause your account for 1 day to 3 months, or self-exclude for 6 months to 5 years. Lowering a limit takes effect at once. Raising one takes 24 hours.

How do Betty’s promotions and rewards work?

Betty runs promotions and a loyalty system called Betty Coins. We do not list any offers. Rules in Ontario and Alberta allow casino bonuses to be advertised only on the casino’s own site and in messages you opted in to.

What we can explain is how the system works. You collect Betty Coins from daily features, quests and level-ups. You spend them on coin games or in the Betty Shop. Coins are not cash, and Betty’s Terms call them “recreational play only”.

What changed for Betty in 2026?

Three things changed this year, and older articles about Betty often miss them.

• Alberta opened. Betty went live there on July 13, 2026, the first day of the province’s regulated market. Many reviews still say “Ontario only”.
• An Android app arrived. Betty’s help centre now lists apps for both iPhone and Android. Older reviews say iPhone only.
• The brand spread. Betty.com now serves other provinces under a different operator and licence. A separate UK site is reported by trade press.

One thing did not keep up. Betty’s Terms of Service were last updated on April 17, 2026, before the Alberta launch. They still describe an Ontario-only service. Where the Terms and newer pages differ, we say so on the page concerned.

How does Betty handle support and complaints?

Betty offers live chat at any hour and email at [email protected]. Its help centre holds more than 150 articles. There is no phone line on betty.ca, and phone numbers printed on other sites are unverified.

If support cannot fix a problem, you can file a formal complaint at [email protected]. Betty aims to resolve complaints within 14 days, with 90 days as the limit. In Ontario, unresolved disputes go to iGaming Ontario.
