On this page

How long does a Betty Casino withdrawal take?

Timing depends on the method you pick. Betty’s help centre gives these times, counted from the moment Betty approves the request. Your bank’s own processing can add to them.

Betty withdrawal time by method
MethodTime after approval
Interac e-TransferWithin 24 hours
Visa Debit1 business day
Visa Credit1 to 3 business days

Betty also promotes faster figures. Its About page says 98% of withdrawals complete instantly. Its Alberta page says more than 90%.

These are the operator’s own claims and the two numbers differ. Treat “instant” as common, not promised.

The Terms set the outer limit. Betty may take up to five business days to process a withdrawal, and up to ten for a jackpot prize. If you need the money by a set date, plan around the Terms, not the marketing.

A withdrawal has two waits: Betty's approval, then your bank's processing.

How do you withdraw from Betty Casino?

A withdrawal takes six steps in the wallet. You do it on betty.ca or in the app. This site cannot move money for you.

  1. Log in to your Betty account.
  2. Tap the wallet icon or open the Account tab.
  3. Select Withdraw.
  4. Choose Interac e-Transfer or your Visa card.
  5. Enter the amount and any details requested.
  6. Select Withdraw to submit.

Betty says it will contact you by email if it needs anything more. Check your spam folder too. You can follow the request under your transaction history.

What are the withdrawal limits at Betty?

You can withdraw as little as $1 and as much as $9,999 in one request. There is no daily limit, so larger sums go out as several requests. Your bank or card issuer may set lower limits of its own.

Worked example. You want to cash out $25,000.

That is three requests. Betty sets no daily limit, so you can submit them on the same day.

Why is my Betty withdrawal delayed?

Betty names two reasons for a manual review, and both are routine. The first is a first-time withdrawal. The second is a new or different payment method. In either case, a person checks the request before it is paid.

What to do while you wait:

  1. Check your email, including spam and junk. Betty writes to you if it needs a document.
  2. Reply quickly if it asks for ID or proof of address.
  3. Contact support if you hear nothing after a reasonable wait.

You can shorten the first review by finishing your ID check early. See Betty sign-up and ID check for the documents Betty accepts.

Why was my Betty withdrawal cancelled?

Betty lists three causes for a cancelled withdrawal, and each has a fix.

Why a Betty withdrawal fails, and how to fix it
What happenedCauseFix
Cancelled after you used a relative's cardThe method is not in your own nameUse a card or bank account in your name only
Cancelled on a new Visa cardThe card was never used for a depositDeposit at least $1 with that card first

Pending longer than expectedFirst withdrawal or new method under reviewCheck email and answer any request

If it still fails, contact Betty support by live chat. Have the time and amount of the request ready.

Can you withdraw to Mastercard at Betty?

No. Betty accepts Mastercard for deposits and does not send withdrawals to it. If you deposited by Mastercard, you will need another route out.

Interac e-Transfer is the simplest one. It goes to your bank account and uses your email address. It also has the shortest stated time.

What is the 14-day card rule?

Betty’s Terms say a credit or debit card deposit cannot be withdrawn within 14 days of that deposit. Most reviews leave this out. It matters if you deposit by card and win quickly.

Worked example. You deposit $100 by Visa on March 3. You win and want to withdraw on March 5. Under the Terms, the $100 you deposited by card can be held until March 17.

We could not find how Betty applies this rule in everyday cases. If timing matters to you, ask support before you deposit. Depositing by Interac avoids the question. See how to deposit at Betty.

Does Betty charge withdrawal fees?

Betty charges no fee for withdrawals or deposits. Your bank or card provider may charge its own. If a fee appears on your statement, ask your bank first, then Betty support.

Can you cancel a Betty withdrawal?

Betty’s help centre has an article on cancelling a withdrawal, so the option exists while a request is pending. We have not been able to confirm the exact steps or cut-off.

Think before you reverse a payout. Cancelling puts the money back in play. If you find that tempting, a loss limit or a timeout can help you keep what you won.
