Betty Bingo is a real-money, 75-ball bingo game open only to players in Ontario. Games run in five sessions a day. You buy cards during a countdown, the numbers are marked for you, and a win is paid automatically. Betty states a minimum return to player of 70%, far lower than a typical slot.

What is Betty Bingo?
Betty Bingo is a scheduled, real-money bingo game inside the Betty site. It uses the 75-ball format common in North America. Each card is a 5 × 5 grid of numbers from 1 to 75.
Unlike a slot, bingo is played against other people. Everyone in a room buys cards for the same draw. The prize pool comes from card sales, minus the share Betty keeps.
You can hold several cards in one round. More cards mean more chances in that round and a higher cost.
Where is Betty Bingo available?
Betty Bingo is available only in Ontario. Betty’s help centre says it is offered “exclusively to players located in Ontario”. iGaming Ontario lists Betty under both Casino and Bingo.
In Alberta, Betty is listed for Casino only, and bingo is not offered. As with all Betty games, you must be physically in Ontario while you play. See Betty Casino rules in Ontario.
How do you play Betty Bingo?
Each round has two stages: a buying window, then the draw. You only act in the first one.
- Log in while you are in Ontario and open Betty Bingo.
- Check the session times and the card price.
- Buy one or more cards during the countdown.
- Watch the draw. Your numbers are marked for you.
- If a card completes the active pattern, bingo triggers automatically.
Winnings go straight to your balance. You cannot miss a win by looking away, because nothing needs to be clicked.
The winning pattern can change from round to round. It may be a line, a shape or a full card. The room shows the active pattern before you buy.
When are Betty Bingo games on?
Games run in five daily sessions: Morning, Lunch, Afternoon, Evening and Night. Betty says exact times and the number of games in each session change.
Check “Bingo Event Details” inside the game for the current schedule. We do not print times here, because they would go out of date.
How much do Betty Bingo cards cost?
Betty does not publish card prices outside the game. Its help centre says the price is shown in the room. Prices can differ between rooms and sessions.
Before you buy, multiply the card price by the number of cards and by the number of rounds you plan to play. That total is your real spend for the session.
Worked example with assumed numbers. Suppose a card costs 25 cents. You buy four cards a round and play 20 rounds.
That is 25 cents × 4 × 20 = $20 for the session. The 25-cent figure is only an illustration. Use the price shown in your room.
What is Betty Bingo’s RTP?
Betty states that the minimum return to player for Betty Bingo is 70%. RTP is the share of all money staked that a game pays back to players over time.
That figure is low next to slots. Betty’s own RTP example for a slot uses 96%.
| Game | RTP | Paid back to players | Kept by the house |
|---|---|---|---|
| Betty Bingo, at its stated minimum | 70% | $70 | $30 |
| A slot with 96% RTP (Betty's example) | 96% | $96 | $4 |
At the 70% minimum, bingo costs about seven times more per dollar staked than a 96% slot. The 70% is a floor, and the real figure in a given game may be higher. Betty does not publish the typical rate.
This does not make bingo a bad choice. Many people play it for the pace and the shared draw. It does mean bingo is a more expensive way to pass an hour than its small card prices suggest.
How do free bingo cards work?
Betty’s help centre has articles on free bingo cards and on why they expire or disappear. So free cards exist as a reward feature, and they come with a time limit.
We could not confirm the full rules. As a general guide, a free card is usually tied to a session or date and is lost if unused. Check the conditions shown with the card. Our page on how Betty promotions work has a checklist for reading any reward’s terms.
How are prizes paid?
Prizes are paid automatically to your Betty balance when a card wins. If several players complete the pattern on the same number, bingo games usually split the prize. Betty’s article does not state its split rule, so check the game rules in the room.
Once in your balance, winnings can be withdrawn like any other funds. See Betty withdrawal times and limits.
Tips for playing within a budget
- Decide your session spend before the first countdown.
- Count rounds, not just cards. Rounds come quickly.
- Set a deposit or loss limit so the site stops you. See Betty limits.
- Take the session breaks as real breaks.
